Free XP: Controls

Left Arrow = Left
Right Arrow = Right
"X" key = long charge, and then a LEAP forward

You are a slime fighting for your life. An endless number of adventurers attack you in pursuit... of Free XP.

TIP:  Use your 'powerful' leap attack to repel attackers!
TIP 2: Only charge a leap if you can do so safely!
TIP3: Slimes are weak...
TIP4: You heal 1 HP every round you survive.

This little game was programmed in Pico8 for Trijam#291. Development time was 3 hours. I worked on the game alone, and I made the assets myself. This was the first time I had enough time to add sounds to a Trijam submission, so I added a few bleeps and boops. Sorry, I haven't ventured out into making music yet. I had more ideas for different enemy types and maybe even a power-up system based on the last adventurer you defeated, but I ran out of time. Three hours is so short! Oh well, I hope you find some enjoyment out of this silly idea I had.
